• Sebastián Sabater is our grandfather and the restless soul who began our story in Buenos Aires in 1937. A chemist, emigrant and trained in perfumery, Sebastián explored the then groundbreaking idea of using soaps to tell stories.

  • Three generations and several crossings across the Atlantic later, a new generation of perfumers, engineers and creative minds have turned that soap factory into our ideas laboratory.

We imagine new concepts. We play with impossible formats. We stretch the boundaries of tradition to discover where it takes us. Sabater Hnos. is the same old Sabater. And it is completely different.

  • Our shop-workshop is hidden away in the historic Plaça de Sant Felip Neri in Barcelona. To find it, just follow the unmistakable scent of our soaps through the mysterious alleys surrounding the cathedral.

  • Barcelona has been our home since 2002, when Eliana, the third generation of artisans in the family, arrived from Buenos Aires to write a new chapter in our history. Today we are proud to be part of the incredible artisanal fabric of the Gothic Quarter, which inspires us so much.

  • We make our products using a cold artisanal process. This method is slow and requires a certain amount of patience, but in return, it does not generate waste, is more sustainable and has a lower environmental impact.

  • Traditional artisanal manufacturing

We make our soaps using the same methods our grandfather started using in 1937. Respectful of the environment and your skin.

  • 100% vegan ingredients

Our products do not contain ingredients of animal origin or derivatives. Only vegetable oils and natural additives of the highest quality.

  • Cruelty free

Or 'cruelty-free'. From our raw materials to the final product, no animals have been mistreated to obtain our soaps.

  • The scent of our soaps is so intense and sophisticated because we only use the highest quality ingredients. Vegetable oils, natural additives and incomparable fragrances, which are also vegan, biodegradable and not tested on animals.

  • Like those first soaps made by our grandfather Sebastian, our products do not contain parabens, sulphates, silicones, mineral oils or preservatives. But today we have more help to do things right: we are registered with the Spanish Agency for Medicines (AEMPS), we follow the guidelines of Good Cosmetic Manufacturing Practices (BPFC) and all our products are registered in the European Product Notification Portal (CPNP).
