• Sebastián Sabater is our grandfather and the restless soul who began our story in Buenos Aires in 1937. A chemist, emigrant and trained in perfumery, Sebastián explored the then groundbreaking idea of using soaps to tell stories.

  • Three generations and several crossings across the Atlantic later, we turned that soap factory into our ideas laboratory.
    We imagine new concepts. We play with impossible formats. We stretch the boundaries of tradition to discover where it takes us. Sabater Hnos. is the same old Sabater. And it is completely different.

  • Our shop and workshop is located in Barcelona's historic Plaça de Sant Felip Neri. To find it, simply follow the unmistakable scent of our soaps through the mysterious alleyways surrounding the cathedral.

  • Barcelona has been our home since 2006, when Eliana, the third generation of artisans in the family, arrived from Buenos Aires to write a new chapter in our history. Today we are happy to be part of the incredible artisanal fabric of the Gothic Quarter, which inspires us so much.

  • We craft our products by hand, piece by piece. A slow method that requires a certain amount of patience, and the one that allows us to work with the heritage of our craft and the standards of old. Solid formats that do not require plastic.

  • Traditional artisanal manufacturing

    In our workshop in Barcelona's Poblenou neighborhood, we work with machines identical to those in the original workshop. There, we craft our soaps and our line of solid cosmetics.

  • 100% vegan ingredients

    We formulate our products exclusively with plant-based ingredients.

  • Cruelty-free

    From our raw materials to the final product, no animals have been mistreated to obtain our soaps.

  • Our soaps are formulated on a vegetable base of 70% olive oil and 30% coconut oil. To this, we hand-incorporate high-quality fragrances, chosen with a perfumer's nose and inspired by nature. A single fragrance per soap.

  • We work with all the certifications that modern cosmetics require: we are registered with the Spanish Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices (AEMPS), we follow the guidelines of Good Manufacturing Practices for cosmetics (GMP), and all our products are notified on the Cosmetic Product Notification Portal (CPNP).
