Since we were kids, my two brothers and I used to play at my father's soap factory, hiding among machines and racing through piles of soap. At the end of the day, we smelled the scent of the soap that had been made.

This is how we grew up, learning a trade that my grandfather Sebastián Sabater started as a perfumer in 1937 and later continued with my father. Together they planned the romantic idea that soap would be the framework for exquisite and select fragrances.

With the same purpose, they began to design and develop machinery for soap making, designs on which we base the machinery we use today in our factories, both in Buenos Aires and Barcelona.

As adults, the siblings joined forces to continue the family business and give it a modern and personal touch.

Thus was born SABATER HNOS. Fábrica de jabones.

Sometime later, I chose to take the opposite route to my great-grandfather and emigrated to Barcelona with the idea of continuing the family project. This trade is part of my life and my history and I have been transforming it based on practice and intuition.

With years of experience behind it, this project continues to grow today with the same enthusiasm as at the beginning.

This soap project in Barcelona is made up of a creative team with whom we share values, convictions and we have fun as well. We set up 2006 our soap shop in Plaça de Sant Felip Neri in the Gothic Quarter, with the aim of selling our handmade soap bars and spreading their benefits.

From the beginning, we set out to pursue the revolution of natural, vegan, and sustainable solid soap for the benefits it brings to our personal care and to the planet.

And we are still here, making natural soaps and solid shampoos with top-quality materials, combining natural ingredients with exquisite and different fragrances, in unique and original formats with the aim of providing sensory experiences while taking care of our health and our environment.

Our factory is located in an old textile factory in Barcelona. There we create and manufacture all our products with care and by hand.

The manufacturing process we use is cold and does not generate any waste.

All our handmade products are natural, vegan, and biodegradable. We use vegetable oils, natural additives, and fragrances of the highest quality.

Our products are free of toxins. They contain no parabens, sulfates, silicones, mineral oils, or preservatives.

None of the components we use have been tested on animals.

Sabater Hnos. Fábrica de Jabones is registered in the Spanish Agency of Medicines [AEMPS]. We work according to the BPFC (Good Cosmetic Manufacturing Practices). All our products are registered in the European Cosmetics Products Notification Portal [CPNP].

As artisan soap makers, we develop lines for third parties in small to medium runs with the possibility of adding a wide variety of ingredients to our natural base.

We also carry out all types of customization through the shape, logo, coloring, perfuming, or composition of the soap.
